What is StillHere?

StillHere is a browser extension that helps you stay visibly present during browser-based video calls. It adds a subtle live presence indicator to your outgoing video, reassuring others that you are still connected and engaged during natural pauses, such as thinking, reading, or taking notes.
The extension also includes optional private stillness alerts that notify you if very little movement has been detected for a configurable period while your camera is active.
StillHere was created to improve communication during online meetings by reducing misunderstandings caused by long periods of silence or stillness. It is designed for professionals, educators, students, interview candidates, remote workers, and anyone who regularly participates in video meetings.

Live Presence Pulse
Displays a subtle animated pulse on your outgoing video to indicate that you are present during natural pauses.
Two Pulse Positions
Choose between placing the pulse near the typical name area and placing it in the opposite corner for greater visibility.
Private Stillness Alerts
Receive optional local notifications if little or no movement has been detected for a configurable period while your camera is active.
Local-Only Processing
All video analysis is performed locally on your device. Your video is never transmitted to external servers by the extension.

StillHere does not record your video or audio.

Extension settings are stored locally or synchronized using Chrome Sync, depending on your browser settings.
